Activ8ym (youth ministries) is the youth group at Central Assembly of God in Superior, WI (3000 Hammond Ave. We gather at 6:30 on Wednesday nights.
OUR MISSION
We exist to continue the work Jesus Christ began in the lives of teenagers: To glorify God because He alone is worthy, to equip young people in the expression of their faith, and to reach the lost souls of this generation. We want to activate eight core values in your life, everyday, all day long: Worship, Relationships, Discipling, Purity, Truth, Evangelism, Excellence, Servanthood.
WORSHIP - We give God all glory and honor and praise for He alone is worthy. We worship Him because of who He is. He is the creator and sustainer of life. He is the savior of our souls. We want our lives to be an extension of worship to our Heavenly Father.
Come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For He is our God; and we are the people of His pasture, and the sheep of His hand. (Psalm 95:6-7a)
RELATIONSHIPS - We believe nothing else matters until you’re right with God. Secondly, we desire to live in harmony with those we choose to be close to as well as those God places into our world.
…as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. (Romans 12:1 
DISCIPLINE - George Washington said, “Discipline is the soul of an army. It makes small numbers formidable, procures success to the weak and esteem to all.” We believe that discipline is part of being a child of God in the army of the Lord!
…He that ruleth his spirit (is better) than he that taketh a city. (Proverbs 16:32)
PURITY - We believe God has called us to a life of purity, one man and one woman for a lifetime. We believe that premarital sexual relationships detract from the human experience and violate the sanctity of the most sacred union of all - marriage.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: they shall be one flesh. (Genesis 2:24)
TRUTH - Truth is the relationship between what you believe and reality. Truth is not determined by might or majority. Knowing the truth is the first step to freedom and victory.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
Jesus saith…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. (John 14:6)
EXCELLENCE - We believe that excellence is doing the best you can with what you have available right now. We also understand that we are the only Bible some people will ever read. We strive to do all we do as unto the Lord.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. (Colossians 3:23)
EVANGELISM - Love without expression is love wasted. The greatest gift we have to offer is the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. We believe that God has called us to preach the Word of truth to the millennial generation.
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)
SERVANTHOOD - Jesus modeled servant hood in the life He lived on this earth. We attempt to serve God, serve the church and serve the community to the glory of God.

We are called to reach the young people of this nation.
